Colour, tone and light, all aspects of which influence my cellular creations. Exploration, allure and fascination of what is hidden beneath our outer shells, buried deep within our bodies. I have opened up and exposed cells in a new and raw form, focusing in on the normal regimented looks in the natural light, and zooming into their microscopic properties, and comparing them to the abnormal and anomalous characteristics under the ultra violet light.

Ok, so i have officially 4 weeks of uni left!

Degree show goes up on the 19th of may!

Im still focusing on cells, dna, and my own representation of them, so my project has consisted of textile samples, uv material, dyes, threads, and my uv light!

All my samples are photographed with my camera & macro lens, focusing in on the samples almost as if the camera were my microscope.

I shall be displaying a pair of my images in A2 lightboxes.
I still have to refine a final image, and get the lightboxes made, and im sorted!
